Welcome to Nursery! On this page you can find some useful information about our learning each half-term. In Nursery, we cover the three prime areas of EYFS: Communication and Language, Physical Development and Personal, Social and Emotional Development. We also support and teach children the specific areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding of the World and Expressive Arts and Design. 

We may also share pictures and news from other areas of learning and development across our EYFS curriculum. 

Our Current Topic for Autumn1 is, 'Marvellous Me- What makes me unique?'

This half-term, in Literacy we will be focusing on the book, 'Super Duper You'. 

We will also look at a variety of other books during our Topic time all about families, body parts and seasonal changes.

In Maths, the children will be learning about different colours, such as red, blue, yellow, green and purple. They will also look at matching colours and objects as well as sorting different colours, sizes and shapes. 

The children will be exploring a range of different activities during continuous provision and outdoor learning to develop their fine motor skills, gross motor skills and their imagination and creativity.
